Surreal Photography – the Girl in the Attic

There is a lot more to a photoshoot than just the photographer and the model. A good concept, the right location and lighting are key to create a unique photo. When Megan Alter shot the series “The Girl in the Attic” every criterium was met. The story behind the concept of this surreal photoshoot has now been published in Good Light Magazine.

The article, written by Megan Alter herself, features four images of the surreal series. On four pages Megan explains how she found the location and what was important for concept and styling; she also talks about how to deal with difficult lighting conditions. Enjoy!
