Sneak Peek: Photo shoot for Indian Fashion Brand Julia&Sita

It was Sunday 18th of October. While everybody else was either running the Amsterdam Marathon or staying inside to escape the rain, we were preparing for a very special photo shoot. Julia, from the Indian fashion label Julia&Sita, was on a weekend visit in Amsterdam and asked us to shoot her new designs.

Preparing the shoot was a real rollercoaster ride. It has been raining all week, the model we chose canceled last minute and thanks to the lack of sunlight it was freezing outside. Luckily we found a new model, Laura Ross from Innocence Model Agency, who Julia liked even better, and just before we were about to go outside to shoot the rain stopped.

We had such a fun time shooting Julia’s Indian fashion outfits, even though it was really cold. The outfits didn’t look too traditional, but still different from normal western clothing. We shot with a Dutch model, so it didn’t seem like Indian fashion, but high fashion with an Indian touch.
