Made in the USA
Young. Wild. Free. – That’s the feeling of the shoot I did during my last visit home.
I shot the Made in the USA fashion series with Joely from IMG Models. I’ve been working with her since she was 14 and helped building her adult modeling profile. After this shoot she was signed with IMG Models and moved from New York to Barcelona. She modeled in shoots like Survivor Bide, Lost Bride and This is where I’m from.
With this urban lifestyle shoot I captured the wild and beautiful nature of the American landscapes and our young model. Joely is dressed like an American scouting girl during summer camp, exploring giant trees in the woods, clear lakes and high mountains. Reuniting with nature – leaving the big city madness behind.
The lake is smooth, sun is shining warm light on it’s surface. No cars, planes or any other noise disturbing the peaceful scenery of Joely’s sun bath. The young girl adapted to the calm and untouched nature around her. The fact that she is in such accordance with her environment is what makes this shoot so special.
