One year of Megan Alter Photography

We take a look back at 2016.

I’ve spent most of my life looking forward. Setting goals, planning and anticipating what will come next. I have to remind myself to pause from time to time and appreciate what has already been accomplished. What better time to do so then now…

This year has been a heavy publishing year for Megan Alter Photography. After teaming up with our new agency theOrlowska, we were featured in international publications such as anywhere.pl and hello Modlin. The Suicide Bride series has been published not once but twice this year; in hello Modlin as well as Good Light Magazine. This wasn’t our first publication in Good Light this year, as they also featured our surreal fashion series The Girl in the Attic in their June issue. It’s great to see our story telling images in print.

New publications aside, we also produced some memorable photoshoots this year. Some of our favorite ones are our collaboration with Duygu Senyurek, the Clean Laundry Shoot as well as our sporty photo series Athleisure feat. Adidas and Active Wear feat. Nike.
These shoots reflect the fashion sense and zeitgeist of 2016.

We are looking forward to 2017 with new teachers joining the Megan Alter Photography Team, exciting courses and workshops, and a new collaboration we are not ready to tell you about yet.
